- Zumba classes will be offered at the Smith Center every Thursday Morning at 9:00 a.m. Zumba is a Latin-inspired cardio based dance fitness class for all ages and fitness levels. No dance experience is necessary. Come and exercise in a healthy, fun, party-ike environment to Latin & international music which keeps you moving as you tone your body. It's one full hour of energized fun! Classes are taught by Brenda Black. Everyone is welcome and no pre-registration is required.
Ice Skating Birthday Parties
The Merrill Park and Recreation Department and Merrill Youth Hockey are offering birthday party packages during the 2017-2018 ice skating season. Birthday Parkties are offered on Friday and Saturday nights during open skate and also some Sunday afternoons will be available. You can call the Merrill Park and Recreation Office at 715-536-7313 for availability. There are three party packages to choose from.
Ice Cream Package - admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, 1 scoop ice cream, 1 drink and a treat for the birthday child. - $8.00 per person
Hot Dog Package - admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, 1 scoop ice cream, 1 hot dog, 1 drink and a treat for the birthday child - $9.00 per person
Pizza Package - admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, 1 scoop ice cream, 2 pieces of pizza per child, 1 drink and a treat for the birthday child - $10.00 per child.
You can bring in your own cake !

Little Tots skating
Every Wednesday in November and December you can bring your little one in to practice skating from 12:00 noon - 1:00. Only a $1.00 charge! You do not have to register. There is no teacher available, this is only a practice time.

2nd and 3rd grade girls and boys welcome to play.
The Merrill Park and Recreation Little Dribblers league will start on thursday, Jan. 4. We will start the league with two weeks of camp teaching the kids dribbling, passing and shooting skills. After the second night of camp the kids will be devided into teams and have practices with their coach for the next two weeks. Games will start on Feb. 1 at 6:00 p.m and run every Thursday until February 22. Registration for league can be mailed in or you can bring it into the Merrill Park and Recreation office. Pre-registration is required.
We are also looking for volunteer coaches, if you are interesed call the office at 715-536-7313.

GLOW IN THE DARK EASTER EGG HUNT

River Bend Trail
The Merrill Park and Recreation Department and Merrill Optimist will be hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 30 starting at 7:00 p.m.. Join us as we walk the River Bend Trail and collect "GLOW IN THE DARK EGGS". Each egg will be filled with a prize (only one egg per child) plus the Easter Bunny will be at the River Bend Pavillion handing out some eggs filled with candy.
Parking will be in the Weinbrenner Parking lot, the start of the hike will be by the Weinbrenner entrance. You can enjoy a beatiful walk to the Pavillion, enjoy some hot chololate, meet and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and when you are ready enjoy a hay ride back to your vehicle.
More information will be coming.
Park reservations will be taken starting on Jan. 2, 2018 and will be as follows:
