ADULT AND TEEN TENNIS LEAGUE

The Merrill Park and Recreation Department is going to have an adult and teen tennis league for the summer of 2013. We will have a meeting at the Smith Center on WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 AT 6:00 P.M. regarding all details on the leagues. Cost will be $20.00 and will include one can of balls.

TEEN LEAGUE:

Girls ages 14 - 18 and Boys ages 14 - 18

ADULT LEAGUE

Adult Women - 18 and over and Adult men - 18 and over

Everyone will be placed into appropriate level - we will have a beginner level and a more advanced level(s). All matches will be played a the Merrill High School Courts.

Call the Merrill Park and Recreation office and let us know if you are interested in playing. Registration forms and details on the league will be handed out at the meeting on:

TIMBAVATI WILDLIFE ZOO BUS TRIP

Date: Tuesday, June 18, 2013
Time: Bus loads at 7:00 a.m. at the Smith Center, we will leave the zoo at 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $32.00 per adult and $27.00 per child

Each session your little ones will get a chace to meet their local hero and learn some valuable lessons. How to call 911, what to do in case of a fire, street safety, how to care for and treat your furry frinds and stanger danger.

ZUMBA

STARTING IN MARCH ZUMBA WILL BE OFFERED ON MONDAY AND THURSDAY MORNINGS FROM 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. AT THE SMITH CENTER. COST IS $4.00 PER CLASS.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired cardio based dance fitness class for all ages and fitness levels. No dance experience is necessary. Come exercise in a healthy, fun, party-like environment to Latin & international music which keeps you moving as you tone your body. It's one full hour of energized fun!

SUMMER PLAYGROUND REGISTRATION IS NOW BEING ACCEPTED. ALL REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE IN PERSON.

PARK RENTAL

As of January 1, 2013 park rental rates will be as follows:

Kitchenette: $65.00 rental fee plus a $50.00 security deposit for residents.

$75.00 rental fee plus a $50.00 security deposit for non-residents.

Ott's, Riverside and Stange:

$55.00 rental fee plus a $50.00 security deposit for residents.

$65.00 rental fee plus a $50.00 security deposit for non-residents.

All park reservations have to be made in person at the Smith Center. Reservation will be accepted for 2013 starting Jan. 2 at 7:30 a.m.

***BIRTHDAY PARTIES: The Merrill Park and Recreation Department is now taking reservations for birthday parties at the Smith Center. Birthday parties are offered on Friday and Saturday evenings during open skate, plus we do have some Sunday afternoons available for birthday parties. We have 3 party packages to choose from:

**Ice Cream Package: Admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, ice cream cup, 1 bottle of soda (20 oz bottle), treat for the birthday child. $6.00 per child

**Hot dog package: Admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, ice cream cup, hot dog, name announcement, 1 bottle of soda, (20 oz bottle) treat for the birthday child. $7.00 per child.

**Pizza package: Admission, skate rental, reserved table, paper products, balloons, ice cream cup, pizza, 1 bottle soda (20 oz bottle), treat for birthday child. $8.00 per child
