Prairie Trails Park, located near the corner of Hwy G and County Road K along the Prairie River, is Merrill's newest park. This 99 acre passive recreation park features 2.5 miles of pedestrian trails along the Prairie River, which is a Class "A" Trout stream.  Amenities include a scenic overlook, outdoor education pavilion, boardwalk, bridge, 2 canoe landings, handicap accessible fishing pier, and parking.

All of these amenities are ADA accessible and were made possible by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Stewardship Fund.
