The Merrill City Pool is located in Stange Public Park.  It includes a pool with a slide and a kiddie pool.

Pool Activities - summer 2009

New this year was swimming lessons.

Teaching the kids deep water safety.

The kids were also taught about canoeing safety, what to do when the canoe tips and how to hang onto the canoe when it does tip.

Hang on!!

After the canoe tips the kids learn how to hang on and where to hang on. They also had the opportunity to go under the water into the canoe and see where the air pockets where.

Relay races - 6 kids per group. Had to swim with a hat, sunglasses and noodle from one side of the pool to the other.
